San Diego’s Leading Immigration Lawyer

Attorney Anna M. Hysell

Former US Department of Homeland Security Honors Attorney Anna M. Hysell now helps clients with all immigration related legal needs

The U.S. Immigration and Nationality laws are extremely complex and for most people too difficult to navigate on their own.  It is critical for clients to have competent and strategic representation to make certain their immigration rights are protected.  Our firm provides clients with exceptional talent that uses its unique background and extensive experience to ensure successful outcomes where possible. North County Immigration listens to its clients’ goals and works hard to find the immigration solutions clients need.

We Make Immigration Possible

A zealous advocate, Anna Hysell effectively uses her experience and insight to the immigration system to assist her clients with the most complex situations in all immigration practice areas, including citizenship, investors, high-skilled professionals, family-based matters, post-conviction relief and deportation defense, even for those facing reinstatement of prior deportation orders.

Within minutes, she can assess the viability of your matter and earn your trust that she will get the outcome you want.  From entrepreneurs to clients with serious criminal convictions, Anna Hysell ensures everyone receives the best representation, even when they are told “Not Possible” by other attorneys.

Ms. Hysell has a strong record of success in winning complex immigration cases.

Just recently, she took on the representation of an alien who had been wrongly convicted by a jury for assault with a deadly weapon.  Spotting an error in his sentencing hearing by the judge, Anna Hysell was able to negotiate with ICE to release the client from custody even though he was an aggravated felon and subject to mandatory detention. She not only negotiated his release, but persuaded ICE to halt deportation proceedings pending his appeal to preserve his constitutional rights.  More about Case Success Stories.

North County Immigration is proud of its history and uses that experience to provide clients an edge in their cases. Recruited by the U.S. government, Anna Hysell was heavily trained by the U.S. Department of Justice in all areas of immigration law.  As a prosecutor she managed an incredibly large docket and had an unusually high success rate. Her mentor, now one of the top ICE officials, trained her to be able to attack any case with creative-thinking and unique litigation skills.  Ms. Hysell  carried her specialized knowledge and discipline with her to her private practice stating “Every immigrant deserves skilled representation, not just competent representation.”  Because she has delivered exceptional services, she has earned a reputation amongst colleagues, professionals and the community:

“As an executive recruiter, I come across clients that have immigration issues or their family has immigration problems. I refer them to Anna Hysell as she is an experienced and professional immigration lawyer that knows how to help people. She is honest and always tells people whether their case is possible or not. I believe her knowledge as a former U.S. Immigration Attorney gives her an edge over many other attorneys as she knows what the Government is looking for in determining whether to grant people’s cases or not. I highly recommend Anna Hysell for any immigration issues.”  — S.R.   More Testimonials.
